Our Christmas tree is finally complete; and I am so happy with how it looks this year. Every year we decorate our tree differently. If we had the room, I would Love to have a dozen Christmas trees, all with a different theme.
I decorated our Christmas tree this year with ornaments collected over the years, some are passed down from family, and many are from my favorite vintage markets. I finished the tree with gorgeous red pops of velvet ribbon bows. I decided to use a couple of vintage "cutter quilts" from my collection to serve as the tree skirt. I cannot get enough of the tapestry of beautiful colors and patterns found in each square. I have big plans for these beautiful pieces of art . . . stay tuned . . .
I Love the charming and creative use of the galvanized tub to cover the metal stand. The whole feeling of this Christmas tree makes me want to move my family to the farm where it was grown.
The simplicity of this Christmas tree adds a surprisingly warm touch to this country home.
I Love the classic touch of red combined with the rustic pinecones.
I Love the images of Victorian Santa Clauses. The images date back to the 1860s when the Victorians began celebrating Christmas. The perfect vintage touch to a timeless tradition.
A Christmas tree dedicated to the symbol of Peace is beauty beyond words.
