The Love of a Bohemian Mama

A decision has been made! We are going to transform one room in our home into a playroom for the boys; and I couldn't be more excited! (And I know they will be too.) I envision the room to not just be a place for their toys, (although that was the initial reason that sparked the idea.) I see the room more as a space for creativity, filled with music, art, and books.

And ever since this "decision" was made, I haven't stopped thinking, brainstorming, and planning over this special space in our home, for James and Oliver. Do you have a special space in your home for creativity, (and toys.)

The Love of a Bohemian Mama: Playroom Inspiration

(It looks like playrooms have been around since 1918.)

Every playroom needs a bookshelf

and a desk

for studious learning.

You can go big

or you can go small.

Either way, I know you are going to Love, Love, Love It!

  5. Looking forward to seeing how it all comes together...with these images as inspiration, I am sure it will be lovely or shall I say handsome! My son is 10 next month and his play room looks like a lego bomb hit it, but that's cool with me because it's his space to be creative. Good luck!

  11. Love your blog :) Does anyone have ANY idea where I can get curtains/fabric like the ones in the 3rd and 5th photo playroom? I'm working on ours and we have those color walls, and that exact red desk, and I had no idea how I was going to pull it all together until I saw those gorgeous green & white curtains!
