Laguna Beach, California is known for many beautiful things; but its' soul can be found every summer at the art festivals that draw people here from all over the world. Tomorrow, The Sawdust Art Festival will open its' magical doors for the 45th year in a row. The Sawdust Art Festival was founded as "a non-profit art organization, dedicated to educating the public, and promoting the art created in Laguna Beach." Today, The Festival showcases the fine art and craft of over 200 Laguna Beach residents. Opened daily, from June 24th - August 28th, 10 am - 10 pm; it is an experience for the entire family.

Nestled in a beautiful eucalyptus grove, this unique artists' village is built every year from the ground up. The artists, individually, create their booths with the same creativity and uniqueness that they exhibit through their art. Sawdust is sprinkled down every pathway, live music fills the air, delicious food and drink is served, and art demonstrations are around every corner.

One of my favorite aspects of The Sawdust Art Festival is the accessibility of the artists. Every day, you will find the artists in their booths, creating their art, and sharing it with you. You can even participate in hands on workshops, taught by the artists in the Festival, and create your own jewelry, blow glass, paint paintings, throw a pot, and tie dye, {just to name a few.}

Every day, The Sawdust Art Festival offers complimentary art classes for kids. {I will post the schedule for the summer, as soon as it is available.} It is truly such a wonderful and magical place. And at $7.75 admission for the day, it is a valuable treat for the whole family to enjoy. {Here is a coupon for a discount; and the military is free.}

Please let me know if you plan to attend the Festival this summer! I would love to meet you there!

xoxo
