Friendship Friday

"When we began this incredible journey, we had no idea of the incredible joys and sorrows that lay ahead; nor did we know how much we would need each other, every day."

Friendship has become one of the greatest gifts in my life. I have friends that I have known since the 1st grade; and they have become my sisters. I have friends that I have known throughout my school days; and I will never forget the wonderful and carefree times we spent together. I have friends that I met when I lived in other states; and they will always hold a special place in my heart. I have friends through becoming a wife and a mom; and we share a heartfelt connection. I have "blogships;" and they have changed my life in more ways than I could have ever imagined. And then there are those friendships that have been left behind because of an event that occurred or a misunderstanding. But no matter what kind of friendship one has or one has lost, friendship "isn't about how long it has been since you've seen them or the amount of time since you've talked. It's about that very moment, when you're doing something and wishing they were right there with you."

Recently, I have re-ignited my childhood love for friendship bracelets. I love their inherent meaning, as well as their beauty. In honor of all of my friends {lovers}, I would love the opportunity to make each one of you a friendship bracelet. Simply email me your address here, and I will make you one and send it to you. It is my way of saying; "Thank you for your friendship." {now, i can't promise they are going to look as fabulous as the ones above; but i will try my best} And if you would love to make one, or a few, for your friends, here is a wonderful diy.

Your friend,
Samantha

  10. oh this is sooo sweet!!! i never advanced in my friendship bracelet making skillz past the single slanted splash of color... never got to the chevron or anything, but i sure did make a lot of them way back in the day.

i feel a little guilty sending you my address, given that my inbox is still rather full of emails awaiting my response. but i would totally cherish that bracelet.

    also, these are great pictures!
