Being Mindful

I have been "being mindful" and extra, extra busy over the last couple of months, creating this! My new baby/company/passion project:

Mindful Octopus

I mentioned a little, here and there, as to the journey I have been on, with Sydney Solis, to becoming a storytelling yoga teacher for kids. And today I feel inspired to share more with you; because I know how loving and supportive you are and have always been to me and my life. I couldn't be more excited to {finally} share with you Mindful Octopus!

Mindful Octopus is a storytelling yoga program for kids. We introduce the practice of yoga and meditation through the art of storytelling. We plant the seeds of health, imagination, and mindfulness through story, yoga, and art. 

In this beginning, Mindful Octopus will be offering classes through partnerships with local community centers, schools, and special events. I will be posting all appearances and class schedules on the Mindful Octopus website, as well as stories, yoga poses, and art projects you can do at home with your kids. It is my dream that Mindful Octopus will grow organically to become a brick and mortar studio, product line, and most importantly, a valuable and sought after program for kids of all ages.

I would also love to give a special "shout out" to my amazing illustrator, Meridth Gimbel, of Octopus Ink Illustration. {how perfect are we together? seriously. we think the same thing every day when we send love notes back and forth to each other.} Meridth is an amazing artist and business woman.
